Pete is sweet. After college, he spent a year in Americorps in Vermont. After that, he worked for a non-profit assisting adults with developmental disabilities in California. And after that, he worked with senior citizens in Texas. He likes old movies and good books and even better friends. And writing and running and taking our pup on walks.
Britt is brave. After college, she worked here and there before earning her MA in religion in California. She's spent the past few years working as an event planner in Texas for the best college in the world (go frogs!). She likes new foods and old friends and taking risks. And running and baking and gardening and growing.
We are lucky. We recently completed a year of service in Morocco as Peace Corps volunteers. It was the most challenging thing we've ever done: exciting and heart-breaking in ways we couldn't have expected.
